The global economic crisis, brewing for a while, really started to show its effects in the 2012 and into 2013. It is worthwhile to note that Taiwanese industries are suffered persecution. This is in fact era of technology and science. With advantages of new technologies and science, precision casting industry also benefit from it. This reflects Taiwanese development since we are facing series challenges in the market. For example, China's rapid growth in precision casting related industries, import of raw materials to supply the shortage, and the global environmental protection consciousness gains ground. All of these factors existed in Taiwan and cause many industrial difficult position.
  
  
The balance between tradition and innovation needs to be debated and struck again. As the result, ACMT create a platform and gather many experts from the area to sharing their experience. The conference aims at assessing recent efforts to changing the industry toward the creation of new industries and new markets.
